Facebook allows maximum 420 characters in status update message. It is sufficient for most of the time. But if you are in the mood of updating a really large status message then you will get an error. Today when I was changing my Facebook status I faced this problem.

There is a trick to bypass this 420 character long Facebook status update  limit. It’s very simple to do.

What you need to do is start ‘Paint’. Now drag the drawing area and make it very small like 1×1 pixel in size so that it become invisible.

Save the image.

Goto your Facebook profile and select Share – Photo and select the image file. After uploading the photo, paste  large status message in ‘Say something about this photo…..’ field.

Now hit Share and you are done!
Your status message will be visible but the image will be invisible.
